Our mission is to raise awareness of suicide and financially support organizations and/or individuals who provide programming to assist those who suffer from suicidal thoughts.
To witness those suffering in the darkness, take control of their mental wellness and bring light to their lives.
Igniting a Spark Foundation was founded in memory of Taylor E. Hill Sparks. The foundation was formed by her parents, friends, and families who want to help prevent suicide and save lives.
We want to provide education to the community—schools, organizations, and individuals to help prevent suicide. Offer funding for suicide prevention research and financial assistance for those who can’t afford needed therapy and medications.
The Lifeline and 988
988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. While some areas may be currently able to connect to the Lifeline by dialing 988, this dialing code will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022.
The National Suicide Prevention Hotline
We can all help prevent suicide. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.
